The Donohoe Skoda Summer League continued tonight with the popular Still 8k race on the cards and with 72 runners at the start line.  A challenging course with plenty of hills and a fast finish saw great times over the distance.  First across the line was Dara Cloake and first Slaney Man home was John Foley in 29.59. Mary Gorham was the ladies winner in 34.17 and Esther O Leary was the first Slaney lady home for the club in 37.49.  Denis Noonan and Helen Sinnott was the spot prize winners on the night.

Many thanks as always to all the marshalls and helpers and a special thank you to Kathleen and Anne for the great spread afterwards.  Next Summer League is the Castlebridge 5k on July 6th, Race Directors are Will and Anne Marie Doyle.
