The final leg of the Donohoe Skoda Slaney Olympic Summer League was held on Friday night last, 2nd September with a 2 Mile Dash around Clonhaston. Race Director was Mag Dunphy.
The winner of the race was St Killians runner Niall Sheil in a fantastic time of 10.12 and first Slaney man home was Bobby Redmond in another great time of 10.38. In the ladies race, Emily Waldron O Connor finished off her Summer League with yet another great win in a time of 12.42, whilst Kelly Long was the first Slaney lady home in 13.10.
