The Strawberry Half Marathon took place in glorious, sunny conditions on 26th May. Most of the club was involved between helping and running. Sixteen members ran in the half marathon with a further thirteen in the 5 Mile Race. In the Half Marathon Conall Cooper was first home for the club in 1.17. Michelle Doyle was first Slaney Olympic lady in 1.58. In the 5 Mile race Peter Ryan was first club man home in 31.56 with Martina O’Sullivan leading home the Slaney ladies in 37.28.
