The second last race of the Donohoe Skoda Summer League was held last evening, hosted by Race Director Ciara Kearney over a challenging and hilly 6K course.  A total of 47 runners took to the start line with Brian O Shaughnessy of St Killians first home in a time of 22.15 quickly followed by Slaney Olympic’s Ben Hill in 22.28.   First lady home was Slaney Olympic runner Catherine Roche in 26.46 and first Slaney Lady home was Esther O Leary in 28.17.  Spot prizes went to John Roban and Mary Gorham.

Last race of the league series is the 2 Mile Dash in Clonhaston on Friday 31st August, Race Director is Mag Dunphy and the end of league BBQ will be held afterwards in Treacy’s Hotel.
