The sun and heat didnt deter any of the 66 runners tonight for the Donohoe Skoda Castlebridge 6K road race hosted by Race Directors Will and Annemarie Doyle.  The course was changed slightly from last year but still had plenty of challenging hills and climbs to be tackled.  The mens race was highly competitive with local runner  St Killians Niall Sheil first home in 20.18 and first Slaney Man home was Bobby Redmond in 22.31.  Annaleigh Hore was the Ladies Race winner in a time of 24.10,whilst Slaney Olympic first Lady was Mary Gorham.
