Well done to the 70 runners who took part last night is the first race of the Donohoe Skoda Summer League Race Series. The opening race of the series is the traditional One Mile Dash which saw fantastic times posted with the first four home in under 5 minutes.  First across the line was Joe Lillis from SBR in a time of 4.53 and First Slaney man home was Bobby Redmond in 5.03, First lady home was Slaney Olympic’s Kelly Long in 5.57 and Mary Gorham was the first Slaney winner home in 5.59.  Spot prizes went to Sunday Nzerem and Theresa Cullen.
