The venue for this years Intermediate Cross Country was the picturesque JFK Park just outside New Ross. The Park is always maintained to a high standard and this was evident today in the super conditions underfoot with mowed fairways throughout. The weather again was unseasonably warm which all made for a great day of racing.
The Ladies race was first off at 12.00 and consisted of 4Km or 3 laps of the course. Emily O Connor lead from gun to finish cruising around the first 2 laps before putting down the foot and finishing the clear winner in a great time of 16.51 and claiming Individual Gold. Slaney Olympic ladies also went to to score Team Silver for the Club. Go Slaney Go!
