A large field of runners lined up for Niall Hudson’s 5k race in Clonroche on Friday 19th July as part of the Slaney Olympic Audi Enniscorthy Summer League.Niall Shiel from St. Killians finished in first place in a time of 16.19, first home from the host club was Farmer Monaghan in 16.48. Dena Hogan from SBR was the winning lady in 20.01 with Slaney’s Siobhan O’ Shea in 22.18 first club lady to cross the line, the kids events followed, with all future Slaney Olympians winning medals. Prize giving & refreshments were served in the clubhouse afterwards.
