Well done to everyone who ran in Kilmore 10K on Saturday evening. Congrats to our men’s team (Farmer, Dave Barron, Jim Stafford, Eoin Keane) who finished second. Dave was 1st over 45 and Jim 1st over 50. Annis Kehoe was first lady over 55 and Jane was 1st over 60. Michelle Doyle, having had a great run was the lucky winner of the free car ferry trip to France while her mother Bridget who took part in the walk went home with a bottle of wine. Marie Chapman overwhelmed herself with her fantastic PB of 49 minutes with brother John equally delighted with his own PB….so much so that he signed up on the finish line and paid his membership to Slaney Olympic. His coach Dannielle claims all the credit! Well done also to Billy, Maurice, Neil, Michael, Graham, Joanne and Danielle and to all the pals.
