A select group of six runners took part in the fourth winter league race over two miles on the Old Dublin Road on an breezy overcast Sunday morning.
Kevin went into the lead from the off with Farmer in close attendance. Next came Bobby and Billy running shoulder to shoulder in the early stages of the race. Paul followed behind at a respectable distance with ladies winner Mag in sixth position. At the half way point Kevin had built up a comfortable lead , Farmer had time to wave, Bobby had moved ahead of Billy, Paul was smiling and Mag was getting cross with the camera man…language not to be repeated!
